Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) on April 8 introduced a new logo to replace the 20 year-old one in use since its establishment.
According to PNJ’s Marketing Director, Ms Pham Thi My Hanh, the logo was designed after the diamond, symbolising permanence and transparency.
The diamond-shaped symbol is made of five lights which represent the five elements, namely steel, wood, water, fire and soil, she added.
PNJ’s CEO and chairwoman, Ms Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, said that under the sponsorship of the International Gold Association since early 2008, PNJ opened Intergold Company to carry out gold services from investment consultancy to trading activities on the floor.
PNJ in 2007 earned profit of VND 127.702 billion, an increase of 156% compared to 2006. The company predicts this year before-tax profit to be at VND 150 billion.
