Naval Service and Viettel further cooperate
PANO - The Naval Service and the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) held a meeting in Hanoi on March 19 to decide on the cooperation program for 2024.
Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Deputy Head of the Department of Political Affairs under the Naval Service and Colonel Nguyen Duc Chau, Director of Viettel’s branch in Hai Phong (Viettel Hai Phong) co-chaired the event.
Last year, Viettel gave financial support and provided its products and services to serve the task performance of the Naval Service. As a result, Viettel’s products and services were promoted and widely known among naval agencies and units. They helped the Naval Service raise the quality of dissemination of information about its Party and political work in implementing missions, such as training, combat readiness, disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, force-building and safeguarding of national sovereignty over the sea and islands.
At the meeting, delegates highlighted advantages and outcomes of the coordination between the Naval Service and Viettel in 2023. They also worked out solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of the cooperation this year.
Regarding the proposal on supporting Viettel in improving its professional work, Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen asked the Service’s functional agencies to collaborate with the corporation according to the field of work, and make reports to the leadership of the Naval Service for approval.
