PANO – The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and the Ho Chi Minh Ophthalmology Hospital on June 30th kicked off the program “Golden heart for better vision.”

According to the program, 500 vision-impaired patients from southern provinces and cities will be given free eye operations from now till the end of the year thanks to the financial assistance of VND 350 million from the MB via its profit and profit-generating transactions with clients. This is part of the activities in celebration of the 20th anniversary of MB’s operation in the southern region.

Doctor Vo Thi Chinh Nga from the Ho Chi Minh Ophthalmology Hospital stressed that the program is meaningful and practical for patients. Eye-related diseases cause many problems for contracting people as not every patient can afford eye operations. That MB finances the program aiming at needy patients is significant, helping people with visual impairment lead normal lives after operations.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of MB’s operation in the southern region, the bank also kicked off various social programs such as “humanitarian blood donation”, construction and handover of youth buildings…
