BIDV, Viettel boost comprehensive cooperation
PANO – The Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel) and the Bank of Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on comprehensive cooperation in the period of 2019-2023.
Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to pilot several cooperation fields with the aim of providing their customers with the best utilities when experiencing products and services of Viettel and BIDV.
BIDV provides advanced financial services for Viettel and its affiliated units and help customers who are using Viettel’s services and products to pay their fees via various methods provided by BIDV (at the counter, via ATMs, internet-banking, and smart-banking).
Viettel is to use the ibank service of BIDV and as a group with the biggest telecommunications infrastructure and biggest and safest data center, it will provide BIDV with information infrastructure, storage and data transfer services both at home and overseas.
Viettel will also cooperate with BIDV in other services such as cash transfer, bank transactions, etc. on its ViettelPay platform.
BIDV has always accompanied the biggest military industry-telecoms group of Vietnam by providing it with best support in terms of credit, capital and other financial services. Particularly, since 2007, BIDV has always met the need of finance from Viettel and its affiliates.
Phan Duc Tu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV, stressed that the signing of the MoU marked an important milestone in the cooperation between the two sides, further affirming the resolve to cooperate in the path to development of mega-businesses.
