Naturalized striker Xuan Son extends Tet greetings to fans

Naturalized striker Xuan Son celebrates first lunar New Year holiday in Vietnam.

On January 30 (the second day of the first lunar month in 2025), in a clip, Xuan Son said “Happy New Year and All the best” in Vietnamese to fans.

This was the first lunar New Year (Tet) of this naturalized striker as a Vietnamese national. He said that Tet was a special time for his family and him and he spent all the Tet holiday at home to recover from his injury.

He said thanks to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xuan Thien Group - sponsor of Thep Xanh Nam Dinh FC, who he calls Papa Thien and underlined that he attaches his career with this papa.

Talking about his destiny with the Vietnamese national football team’s jersey, Xuan Son said it was little bit different and also crazy. He scored many goals and became a champion. He sometimes could not believe that truth, but he was happy about it.

He hoped that he would come back soon, sing the national anthem of Vietnam and score more goals for the national football team.

At the end of the clip, Xuan Son sung the national anthem of Vietnam in a proud manner.
