The woodblocks were engraved during the Le Trung Hung, Tay Son, and Nguyen dynasties. The scripts on the woodblocks are all ancient sino-scripts and Nom scripts engraved in negatives with soft lines and high aesthetics.

This year’s Dau Pagoda Festival takes place from May 13 to 15 (April 6 to 8 in the lunar calendar).

During the three-day festival, there are traditional rituals and numerous festival activities such as love duet singing on boats, Dong Ngu water puppet shows, sports competitions and folk games.
