PANO – Vietnam landed in the second place at the 39th SEA Age Group Swimming Championships 2015, as it snatched 29 gold, 24 silver, and 21 bronze medals.

At the championships, athlete Phuong Tram pocketed 13 gold medals for the 14-15 age group, an achievement no less than that of athlete Anh Vien (a rising star in swimming of Vietnam) at the championships in 2014. Meanwhile, Tran Duy Khoi bagged 7 gold medals and broke 4 records. Nguyen Huu Kim Son, in the 13 age group, and Nguyen Huy Hoang, in the 14-15 age group, also contributed two records to the Vietnamese team.
The champion of the event was Singapore with 41 gold, 41 silver, and 28 bronze medals, while Indonesia came third bringing home 13 gold, 3 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
