PANO – The Asia Park (Da Nang city), bearing typical Asian cultural features, has recently been named as the longest lantern street in Vietnam.

Themed “Glisteningly interesting Asia”, the street offers the people of Da Nang city and tourists a wonderful feast of light, with 3,000 lanterns covering all four areas of the city: namely the CBD, the Singaporean, the Indonesian, and the Japanese areas. Each area displays lanterns of typical Oriental cultural features.

The CBD area is decorated with traditional Vietnamese lanterns made of paper and bamboo frames. These are Hoi An lanterns, a design which is around 500 years old, considered a symbol of luck and blessing. Hoi An lanterns always remind people of a full, bustling and brilliant moonlit night in August.
Not as sparkling as the traditional lanterns of Vietnam, the Indonesian lanterns are extremely illustrious with delicate motifs in the two major colors of black and white.
Crossing the illusory space featuring Indonesian lanterns, people have the chance to admire the lanterns from Japan, with their soothing colors of a special and unique culture.
One of the highlights of the longest lantern street in Vietnam is the area flaming with the red lanterns of Singapore. Travelers not only have a chance to admire the lantern culture of different Asian countries, but can also enter the fairy world with funny and lovely cartoon characters.
They are the lovely rabbit
Active dolphins
Or lovely moons

Themed “Glisteningly interesting Asia,” the longest lantern street in Vietnam also offers tourists and residents a chance to learn about the cultures of the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, and China via traditional costume performances on weekdays. The street closes on September 27th.
