The 1010th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi marked

Accordingly, a grand ceremony marking the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long- Hanoi will take place at Ly Thai To Monument Flower Garden on October 10 in Hanoi.

The highlight of the series of activities will be the incense offering ceremony to commemorate King Ly Thai To at Do temple (Bac Ninh province), Hoa Lu ancient capital (Ninh Binh province), the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and Monument of King Ly Thai To (Hanoi) on October 10.

Also on this occasion, other activities including a high-level seminar titled “Consultation on initiative: Hanoi – Creative City,” a gathering to mark 60th anniversary of friendship between Hanoi – Hue – Saigon, “I love Hanoi” festival, and “Hanoi – Aspiration of a Flying Dragon” art program will be held with other exciting activities.

Amid the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the municipal People's Committee has requested organizers to adjust their activities to ensure safety for participants.
