Spectacular fireworks light up Ho Chi Minh City's sky on National Reunification Day
PANO - Ho Chi Minh City launched low-altitude fireworks at 28 locations and high-altitude at two locations on the evening of April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025).
Two high-altitude fireworks display locations were at the Saigon River tunnel area in Thu Thiem ward of Thu Duc city and Ben Duoc Temple in Cu Chi district. 28 low-altitude fireworks display locations were in different districts in the city.
From late afternoon, thousands of residents flocked to the city center to secure good viewing spots, ready to enjoy a vibrant night filled with color and emotion.
The city deployed forces along key roads and around event zones to ensure public security.
