PANO – A scientific seminar is taking place in Quang Tri province to find out solutions to restoring relics of the ancient citadel of Quang Tri in the second stage.

Those measures must match with the scale and value of the ancient citadel.

Scientists, experts and especially officers and commanders who fought on the Quang Tri front are to contribute their suggestions.

Basic restoration work was completed in the first stage from 1998-2003. The second stage will focus on upgrading the project with the principles of preserving the original overall architecture of this very important historical relic.

The seminar organised by the Quang Tri province People’s Committee and General Department of Politics of Vietnam People’s Army will close on August 15.
