PANO - “Two women” of Russia won the prize for the feature length film of the third Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF).
On the evening of November 27th, HANIFF’s closing and awarding ceremony was held at the Viet-So Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi.

The five-day festival, themed “Cinema- Integration and Sustainable Development”, drew the participation of more than 150 international delegates and 130 films from over 30 countries and territories.
At the awarding ceremony, the organizers presented a jury award for “Flapping from the middle of nowhere”, a feature length film of Vietnam.
Anna Astrakhantseva (Russia) in the film “Two women” was named as the best leading actress while Allen Dizon (the Philippines) of the film “The coffin maker” was the best leading actor.
Iranian director Shahram Mokri (Iran) of the film “Fish and Cat” was the best director in the feature length film category and director Ruslan Akun (Kyrgyzstan) of the film “Herding” was the best director in the short film category.
Apart from the jury award for the feature length film, there was another jury award for the short film, which went to the film “What’s out there?” by Vietnamese director Nguyen Diep Thuy Anh.
Other prizes included the best short film for “Waiting for colours” by Indonesian director Adriyanto Dewo and the Asian Cinematography Encouragement Network award for “The coffin maker” film.
The third HANIFF ended with the high appreciation, deep impression and great feelings among international guests and friends.
