In his speech, Mr. Kim Jangsil announced the start of the festival and the RoK Tourism Year 2023-2024. He hoped that the Vietnamese people in general and Hanoians in particular would have a space for play and experience and get close to Korean culture, thus loving the RoK more and selecting the RoK as their tourist destination in the future. He wished the two countries’ tourism to thrive and reap more impressive achievements and the two countries to consolidate their friendliness.

The Korean official also expressed his hope that the two countries will celebrate more 30 years of diplomatic ties in the future.

During the event, leading Vietnamese and RoK artists entertained the audiences with interesting performances.

In this two-day festival, 24 booths provided visitors with general information about Korean culture, tourism, and people, Korean Cultural Center, and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), and Korean brands.

The festival was a chance for tourist companies, such as Vietravel, Hanoitourism, Hanoitourist, Flamingo Redtours và Saigontourist to introduce their tours to the RoK.

Attentively, K-Local booths were ideal check-in places for visitors with virtual simulations on leading tourists attractions in the RoK, such as the train viewing the sea in Busan, the ancient Manhyujeong house in Andong, the romantic harbor in Mokpo, the hundred-year-old Hanok village in Jeonju, the bus station with close attachment to famous band BTS at Jumunjin beach, Gangneung city, Gangwon province and and Jeju Island - a beautiful island known as the RoK’s Hawaii.
