The program aims to pay gratitude to policy families, war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs’ families and national contributors.
Held for the first time in 2008, the 8 previous programs have received some VND 40 billion of donation from social organizations, businesses and individuals nationwide for needy national contributors, policy beneficiaries and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, helping them overcome their difficulties and adversities in life.
With the donation, the organizers have presented 10,000 saving books, nearly 500 gratitude houses, and 560 breeding cattle to needy national contributors, as well as offered 3,500 scholarships to disadvantaged students with good academic records.
On the occasion, the organizers also presented saving books and gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers at the Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers in Duy Tien district, Ha Nam province.
