Nguyen Hue flower street opens in HCM City
PANO – Nguyen Hue Flower Street officially opened on January 29 evening at Nguyen Hue walking street in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme of “Homeland spring - love for humanity.”
This year’s flower street features three main parts, namely “Returning to forest – Green nature,” “Spring of gratitude – Pride of Vietnam,” and “Heading to the big sea - The country converges.” About 80 genres of flowers with artistic designs on 97,000 pots and baskets were arranged along the streets.

The entrance to of the flower street is placed with a couple of tigers made from steel and stainless steel pieces. Each tiger is 3 meters high and 7 meters long.
In addition, the flower street has a space for the city’s authorities and people to pay tribute to the whole-country people and the COVID-19 prevention and control forces, who have accompanied them in the hardest time.
On the occasion, the city’s Youth Union Executive Committee launched a donation program to support needy and pandemic-hit people in the city.

Due to the pandemic prevention and control rules, all visitors to the flower street are required to fill in health declaration, have body temperature checked, and wear facemasks during their visits.
The flower street will run till February 4.
