The selected logo will be used in communications efforts to promote the festival, which will be held every two years in the locality hosting the “National Tourism Year”.

The contest is also to promote the development of the photography sector, contributing to introducing Vietnamese culture, landscapes, people, and tourism, and enhancing international exchanges in other fields through photography.

It is open to individuals and organisations inside and outside the country.

Entries must have their own character, creativity, and cultural integration, and be in line with the goal of promoting the photography sector’s national brand in the international market.

Applicants can send a maximum of five entries in A4 size to the photography department at the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, at 38 Cao Ba Quat street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi, until July 31.

An awards ceremony is expected to be held in October.
