K-pop lovers festival held in Hanoi
PANO – The K-pop lovers festival and the qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 held at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi on May 11 and 12.
For Vietnam, this will be the seventh time that the festival has been held in the country, and the ninth for the qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 has been held here. The events offer K-pop lovers across the nation a good chance to enjoy different art genres.

A wide range of activities took place during the two-day festival. Exhibitions featuring products of K-pop idols, Korean tourist products, and other displays on Korean cuisine and culture were also held. A street show performed by GORPHY group, a K-pop idols chibi drawing competition, exchanges among K-pop fan clubs, and K-pop dancing also attracted scores of people.
The qualifying round of the Changwon K-pop World Festival 2019 was planned to be held at 6:30pm on May 12. Eighteen individuals and groups from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city will demonstrate their talent on stage alongside a number of guests including Vietnamese singer Min and the Korean dancing group Seoul B-boy Crew. The winner will represent Vietnam in the global K-pop competition, which is scheduled to take place during September this year in Changwon, the Republic of Korea.
