On the first floor of the traditional house, there are many wax figures and production tools depicting ceremonies and daily activities of the Dao people in the past and at present. This is a unique feature attracting a large number of visitors at home and abroad.
Ms. Ly Thi Mui, a Dao people in Luc Yen district, Yen Bai province shared that visiting the communal house, everything seems to be familiar with her. She felt that she returned to the root. After arriving home, she will tell the Dao people in Yen Bai about Ba Che district, underlining that she will come back to the district next years.
According to Mr. Trieu Van Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Affairs under the Office of the National Assembly, Ba Che is on the path of preserving and promoting the identity of the Dao ethnic people. Up to now, Ba Che is the only locality in Vietnam to build a communal house for the Dao people. This is the place gathering the Dao people throughout the country to Ban Vuong festival.
