Lao National Assembly delegation visits Son La to deepen bilateral cooperation
A delegation from the Lao National Assembly (N.A.), led by Vice President Suvon Luongbunmi, paid a working visit to Vietnam's northwestern province of Son La on April 23.
Welcoming the delegation, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh said Vietnam and Laos are close neighbors, with their great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation considered a priceless legacy nurtured by generations of both peoples.
He stressed that Son La, sharing borders with Laos’ Houaphanh and Luang Prabang provinces, proudly serves as a bridge in reinforcing bilateral ties. In recent years, it has signed cooperation pacts and forged strong and all-rounded relationships with nine provinces of Laos.
