At the handover ceremony

The four-storey dormitory with capacity of 200 beds was invested and built by Houaphanh province and handed to Hong Duc University to serve Lao students studying at the university.

The dormitory for Lao students is a special project, demonstrating the relationship between Thanh Hoa and Houaphanh provinces.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Houaphanh province’s representative affirmed the significance of the dormitory. He expected that the dormitory will be effectively operated to facilitate Lao students’ studying in Thanh Hoa province.

The four-storey dormitory has 200 beds.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Thanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee Le Duc Giang, in the 2011-2020 period, Thanh Hoa provided training for more than 1,000 Lao students, and most of them were from Houaphanh province.

In addition, the central province of Vietnam has invested VND 3 billion to build a refectory next to the dormitory to help Lao students be more comfortable during their stay in Vietnam.
