Titled “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa, Truong Sa – Historical and Legal Evidence”, the exhibition showcases nearly 600 documents and 80 photos of the country’s sea and islands, including the two archipelagos of Vietnam.
The exhibition also displays 54 maps issued by Vietnam, China and Western countries from the 17th to the 20th century, and four atlases published by China displaying Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
The event aims to raise local people's awareness of the country’s sovereignty over the national seas and islands.
The exhibition runs until November 23 at the provincial Library of Thai Nguyen.
