The exhibition, co-organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and local agencies, features evidence affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.

Documents, maps, images and items made public by Vietnamese and international scholars are being presented in 3D format.

Addressing the event, Tran Thi Quoc Hien from the MIC underlined that sea and islands are inseparable parts of Vietnam.

The exhibition is part of the activities to raise awareness and responsibility of students and staff of the school in the safeguard of the country’s sea and islands sovereignty, she added.

On the day, teachers and students of the school also joined a talk with a former official from the General Political Department of the Vietnam People’s Army on the country’s sea and islands, especially the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
