The exhibited items including documents, publications and nearly 100 maps of researchers and scholars both at home and abroad once more confirm the sovereignty of Vietnam over the two archipelagoes of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa, as the forefathers of the Vietnamese people discovered and claimed the archipelagoes and other islands and waters in the East Sea (South China Sea) a long time ago.
The exhibition has confirmed the righteousness of Vietnam in its claim of sovereignty over the archipelagoes and helped enhance solidarity and responsibility among the people both at home and abroad. It has also brought the truth to international friends, including the Chinese people, and conveyed to the world’s public the Vietnamese people’s legitimate aspiration for peace and stability in the East Sea and the rest of the region.
