The production forms part of the international music project “Good Morning Vietnam,” initiated by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group to bring world-class performances to Vietnam while promoting the country’s culture and tourism through music videos.

Profits from the project are dedicated to charitable and humanitarian activities. To date, the organizers have hosted performances by saxophonist Kenny G, the string quartet Bond, and Secret Garden, along with tourism-promotion music videos featuring Hanoi, Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province) and Ninh Binh province.

The organizing committee presented the Secret Garden MV to leaders of Ninh Binh, tourism and hospitality groups, airlines and television stations to help broaden its reach among domestic and international audiences.

Speaking after the filming was completed, the two artists expressed their admiration for Ninh Binh’s inspiring natural scenery. They said performing in open landscapes rather than in a concert hall created a unique experience in which music and nature blended harmoniously to form a complete emotional journey. They described the project as an unforgettable memory from their performances in Vietnam, and thanked Nhan Dan, IB Group and the “Good Morning Vietnam” initiative for enabling them to create and share music in a culturally rich heritage setting.

At the launch ceremony, Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan, said creative productions such as the MV represent an effort to renew approaches to promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism by harnessing the power of music and the arts to tell cultural stories in a modern, humane and distinctive way. They reflect the long-term commitment of “Good Morning Vietnam” to linking art, media and social responsibility.

Nguyen Thuy Duong, Chairman of IB Group and the MV’s production director, noted that while the earlier “Bond in Vietnam” video focused on seascapes in Ha Long Bay, the Secret Garden production posed a greater challenge, requiring filming across multiple terrains within a single shooting session. Each setting, he said, required careful technical planning and storytelling approaches to suit the landscape while maintaining a coherent emotional narrative throughout the video.

In October last year, Secret Garden performed in Vietnam for the first time before an audience of 3,000 as part of the “Good Morning Vietnam.” The duo performed more than 20 of their best-known compositions, marking their 30-year artistic journey. During the concert, images of Vietnam’s cultural heritage and landscapes were projected alongside the group’s music, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience.
