Hanoi welcoming first foreign visitors of 2021

On January 1, the Hanoi Department of Tourism held a ceremony to welcome 20 tourists from Ho Chi Minh City who were guided by the Hanoitourist Travel Company to Hanoi at the Temple of Literature, a special national relic site.

Before the ceremony, the tourists and other delegates offered incense and heard an oration at Nha Tien Duong (Forecourt House) and enjoyed a special art performance.

The same day, at Phu Bai International Airport, the Thua Thien - Hue Department of Tourism, and other units welcomed 203 tourists to the province with beautiful fresh flowers.

Also on the first day of the New Year, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center welcomed and extended New Year greetings to ten tourists, including two Vietnamese and eight foreigners. These ten visitors were given a free tour around the relic site.

Meanwhile, leaders from the tourism sector of Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city warmly welcomed a number of domestic tourists to local tourism attractions and resorts.

This year, the tourism sector of Lam Dong province targets to receive more than 4 million tourists.

Other tourist-welcoming ceremonies also took place in Da Nang, Hoi An, and other tourist destinations nationwide.
