Some 200 tourists arrived at Tien Sa port in central Da Nang city in the morning of February 19, the first day in the year of goat.

They were brought in by ship Star Pride run by Destination Asia Vietnam.
Later on the day, another 182 passengers travelling from Seoul, the Republic of Korea landed the city at its international airport.
According to Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Director of the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Da Nang held a tradition of welcoming the lunar year’s first tourists with li xi (good luck money) and dragon dance performances.
The city expected to host 199,608 arrivals during the ongoing traditional New Year festival, an annual increase of 10.25 percent. They include 66,170 foreigners and 133,438 domestic visitors, up 11.8 and 9.5 percent year on year, respectively.
