2022 is a bumper year of the school since all of its six students competing in international  Olympiads winning gold medals with two golds in Mathematics, three in Physics, and one in Chemistry. Attentively, 12th grader Ngo Quy Dang attained the perfect score of 42 at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). This marked the first time since 2003 when a Vietnamese contestant hit the perfect IMO score.

Highly appreciating the good results obtained by teachers and students of the school in particular and of other VNU’s affiliated schools in general, VNU Director Le Quan emphasized that the VNU has always maintained the leading position in the national education and training system and greatly contributed to the national education and training cause.

On behalf of the gold medalists, Ngo Quy Dang attributed their achievements partly to the teachers’ efforts and confirmed that they were a gift of gratitude to their instructors.
