Various activities held to mark Vietnamese Teacher’s Day

* On November 20, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, attended a ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day and the 25th Vo Truong Toan Awards ceremony.

Accordingly, Vo Truong Toan Awards 2022 honored 50 outstanding educational managers and teachers who had innovative teaching methods and great contribution to the education sector.

On the occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training granted certificates of merit to 25 typical teachers who received prizes over many years and handed over an emulation flag to Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Education and Training.

* On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Education organized a series of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teacher’s Day.

In detail, the university opened a book exhibition, launched a workplace for lecturers who are professors and associate professors, and introduced the university’s VLE online system, among others.

On this occasion, 30 outstanding teachers were presented the insignia “For the Cause of Education” of the Ministry of Education and Training.

* The Saigon Entrepreneurs Magazine debuted a book by Dr. Ly Tung Hieu featuring the life and career of Luong Van Can with the history of the country and Vietnamese entrepreneurs on the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
