Troubled fisherman saved at Hoang Sa waters
PANO – At 1:45pm on January 9, Ship SAR-412 of the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center Region II (Da Nang MRCC) successfully took fisherman Huynh Van Cuong ashore safely.

Earlier, at arounf 2:17pm on January 8, fisherman Huynh Van Cuong, 43, vomited blood while working on trawler BD95395-TS of Truong Sy Hoang from Tam Quan Bac commune, in Binh Dinh province’s Hoai Nhon district, at waters of Vietnam's Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelago.
Receiving the information, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) sent immediately ship SAR-412 with a medical team from Da Nang City Emergency Center to the scene to assist the patient.
At 2:45am on January 9, the team approached the trawler, gave first aid to the sick fisherman and then took him ashore for further treatment.
