Ship SAR-411 towing the troubled trawler ashore

On the previous day, the trawler, captained by Cao Duy Song from Hoai Nhon district of Binh Dinh province, went adrift due to engine failure in bad weather conditions while fishing at sea about 155 nautical miles off the Cua Lo coast, Nghe An province.

After receiving the information, the Center immediately sent ship SAR-411 to the scene, approached the troubled trawler, and safely towed it and all fishermen ashore.

* On the same day, the Naval Region 3 of the Vietnam People’s Navy rescued trawler BD-98147TS with 16 fishermen on board to shore.

An unexpected engine failure caused the trawler to go adrift at about 40 nautical miles from Son Tra peninsula, Da Nang city.

After receiving the mayday signal, the region also quickly sent ship No.314 for the rescue mission.
