Three hundred people join “Walk for peace of humanity” held in Da Nang
PANO - On March 19, the Da Nang City Peace Committee, in collaboration with the Festival Organizing Committee and the People’s Committee of Ngu Hanh Son district, held the program “Walk for Peace of Humanity.”
This is the first time that the activity had been held as part of the Quan The Am - Ngu Hanh Son Festival. The event attracted over 300 participants, including local residents, tourists, and students from universities in the city.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city and President of Da Nang municipal Peace Committee Le Van Trung highlighted the significance of the event.
The local leader said that in the context of complex global changes, peace is not merely the absence of war, but also respect for human rights, social justice, and sustainable development.

He said that “Walk for Peace of Humanity” was far beyond a sports event. It held deep significance, representing the desire for peace, solidarity among nations, and sustainable development.
