Pacific Partnership 2019 funds school building in Phu Yen
Work started on the construction of three classrooms in Hoa My Tay primary school, Tay Hoa district of the south-central province of Phu Yen on May 16 , in the framework of the Pacific Partnership 2019 program (PP19).
A groundbreaking ceremony was attended by US Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink, commander of PP19 Mission Captain Randy Vann Rossum, and representatives from local authorities and relevant agencies.
Each classroom covers an area between 180 sq.m - 200sq.m. They are not only for learning, but also provide accommodation for about 150 people in case of natural disasters.
The program also helps improve, repair and upgrade six other classrooms of the school.
