US medical staff join blood drive in Phu Yen
American medical workers joined a voluntary blood donation programme at Phu Yen Medical College, the central province of Phu Yen on May 13.

More than 120 lecturers and students at the college also joined the activity. |
The event was part of medical support activities under the ongoing Pacific Partnership 2019 (PP19).
More than 120 lecturers and students at the college also joined the activity.
As the result, a total 120 blood units were handed over to the provincial general hospital.
The benefits of blood donation were also explained by US medical staff.
Earlier, medical experts from the US, Japan, Canada, Australia and the Republic of Korea also shared experience with those from the provincial general hospital, the ophthalmology hospital and the obstetric and pediatric hospital.
Within the PP19 framework, there were seminars on strokes, food safety and nursing programme development.
