More organizations contribute to national COVID-19 fight
PANO - On September 13, more organizations gave support to front-line forces and pandemic-hit localities in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bao Minh Company on September 13 presented VND 500 million to the General Hospital of Binh Duong province to assist it in COVID-19 prevention and control.

The donation will be used to buy 15 RO water purification systems to serve COVID-19 patients and medical forces at Phu Chanh field hospital.
The same day, the Post Office of Long An province handed over 13.5 tons of farm produce to the provincial chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to support those facing difficulties caused by the pandemic in 15 districts, towns, and cities of the province.
Also on September 13, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Ho Chi Minh City chapter handed over ten ambulances worth more than VND 10 billion to local hospitals and those in Ben Tre province.
At the handover ceremony at Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda, eight IVECO specialized ambulances donated by a charitable association of Tuong Nguyen Pagoda in District 4 were symbolically given to the People’s Hospital 115, the Children’s Hospital No.1, the Rehabilitation Hospital of District 8, the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, general hospitals of Hoc Mon district and Thu Duc city, Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital, and the General Hospital of Giong Trom district of Ben Tre province.
Representatives from the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology in Ho Chi Minh City and the People’s Committee of District 10 also received two ambulances presented by the “Saigon people love one another” charity program.
