More efforts needed to prevent and combat human trafficking
PANO - The Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), in association with the Ministry of Public Security and People's Committee of Nghe An province, on July 30 held a meeting in recognition of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons in 2020.
Attending the event were Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, and other delegates from relevant agencies and units.
Themed “All people pledge to do their best to prevent human trafficking", this year's event conveys the message: Fighting human trafficking is a responsibility of every member of society.
