The UK, Vietnam cooperate in raising public awareness of human trafficking
PANO - The UK Embassy in Vietnam and relevant Vietnamese departments will boost information dissemination to raise the public’s awareness of human trafficking from this March.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’hen Niê will join this meaningful campaign.

Under this campaign conveying the message “Don’t bet your future-Illegal migration can make you a victim of human trafficking”, a number of posters on free round-the-clock support services and the hotline 111 will be installed in Nghe An province and at five airports namely Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang, Vinh and Dong Hoi.
Besides, a short video with the presence of the UK Ambassador to Vietnam Gareth Ward and Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’hen Niê will be broadcast on Vietnam Television channels 1, 3 and 6 in this April and May.
These activities are expected to make local people aware of the risks of illegal migration and human-trafficking.
