This activity was part of a program “Helping orphans overcome the pandemic,” co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and BITEX Group.

According to the organizing panel, the program will take place in the 2022-2027 period with a total of 800 scholarships worth VND 10 billion and  the amount can increase.

Reportedly, half of the scholarships will be granted to disadvantaged children in Ho Chi Minh City while the remaining will come to needy orphans in other provinces and cities nationwide.

Under the program, the recipients will get scholarships and school supplies during their study at all grades. After they graduation, the organizers will consider to further support them in pursuing higher education.

Chairman of the BITEX Group’s Board of Directors Nguyen Xuan Dung underlined that the program shows its responsibility for the community, particularly in education and training. He hoped that the program will popularize the value of humanity so that more sponsors will engage in similar activities to assist local orphans for a better life.
