More care for needy households and anti-COVID-19 forces
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union visited and presented gifts to youth volunteers and COVID-19 hit people on June 13 in support of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amid the complicated developments of the pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union visited locked-down hostels and youths with disabilities who are affected by the disease and presented gifts to needy households.

They also closely worked with local youths to support disadvantaged people and granted gifts to encourage volunteers in action in locked-down areas.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union handed over certificates of merit to its chapters of Thu Duc city, Binh Thanh district, and Phu Nhuan district, for their outstanding achievements in the fight against the pandemic.
On the same day, the volunteers also instructed people on how to install the Bluezone app, established “Rice ATMs”, supported relevant forces to take COVID-19 samples in quarantined areas, and donated blood.
