The event saw the attendance of Director of Military Hospital 175 Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Tien Phong Newspaper and Vice Head of the Organizing Board of the Miss Vietnam 2020 beauty pageant Vu Tien; medical staff of the hospital as well as the top 3 contestants of the Miss Vietnam pageant.

During the Miss Vietnam 2020 beauty pageant, Military Hospital 175 accompanied the organizing board to ensure comprehensive medical care for the contestants and evaluated their anthropometrics.

With the aim of spreading love and compassion to people around Vietnam, the exchange program is part of the activities of the “Compassion heart” project which was initiated by Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha, first runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, second runner-up Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao and the Beauty with a Purpose Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong.

Speaking at the event, journalist Vu Tien said that Military Hospital 175 has been a pioneer in supporting disadvantaged people as well as spreading love and compassion through volunteer activities for community and international missions. That is the reason why the organizing board of the pageant chose Military Hospital 175 as a project partner.

Director of Military Hospital 175 Major General Nguyen Hong Son added that the hospital has focused on humanitarian activities including supporting flood-hit victims in central provinces, providing free health check-ups for the poor, visiting and offering gifts to policy families and disadvantaged patients, and donating blood.

Moreover, Son also congratulated the top 3 Miss Vietnam 2020 and other beauties and hoped that they will spread compassion throughout the community through practical activities and programs.

At the event, the medical staff recalled unforgettable memories at Level-two Field Hospital Rotation 1 while conducting their UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

The top 3 Miss Vietnam 2020 expressed their admiration and Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha said that she will make all-out-efforts to carry out compassion projects, contributing to making the community and society better as well as upholding the positive image of Vietnam in the eyes of international friends.

On the same day, Miss Vietnam Ha, runner-ups and the Beauty with a Purpose visited and presented gifts to oncology patients in Military Hospital 175.
