Medical youths of Hanoi to show innovative techniques
PANO - The 27th Innovative Techniques Festival of Hanoi’s Medical Youths will open on March 17 with the participation of more than 700 young doctors, nurses, pharmacists and 174 technical teams from 42 health establishments across Hanoi.
The 3-day festival with the competition of scores of innovative topics and techniques by medical youths was introduced at a press conference on March 9 in Hanoi by the steering board of the festival and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.
In addition, the participants will provide free health checkups for more than 1,000 locals, including policy beneficiaries, former volunteer youths, needy families and present 10 gifts to impoverished families whose members have cancer in Dong Lo commune, Ung Hoa district.
The festival is a playground for medical youths to show their talents and intelligence in study, scientific research, and in applying advanced techniques to treatment and to exchange experiences.
Since its first organization in 1975, this biennial event has attracted thousands of hospitals and health clinics inside and outside the army with numerous new applicable initiatives and techniques.
