KORCHAM grants scholarships to Vietnamese students
PANO - The Korea Chamber of Business in Vietnam (KORCHAM) organized a program themed "Sharing hands" for Korean entrepreneurs on December 1 and presented 114 scholarships to Vietnamese students.
Speaking at the event, Deputy-Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) Dao Hong Lan said that MoLISA would create favorable conditions for Korean concerns to do business and thus contribute to social activities in Vietnam.
KORCHAM is a representative office for more than 6,000 Korean businesses which are currently investing in Vietnam. The organization is making a large contribution to enhancing the trade promotion between Vietnam and the RoK, sharing information on the investment market for its members and organizing activities to connect its members and representatives from Vietnamese agencies.
This annual program aims to promote the activities of Korean enterprises towards development of the Vietnamese society, thus enhancing the cooperation and development of the two countries. At the ceremony, 114 scholarships, worth VND 1.14 billion, were awarded to outstanding Vietnamese students.
