Around 170 outstanding participants in the event were young talents, needy children, and children with disability.

During the program, the participants raised their voice in some issues including their out-of-date textbooks, bullying, and low-quality foods.

They also wanted to have more soft skills and practice periods, modern libraries and more.

Addressing the event, Secretary of the city’s Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan expressed his delight at the constructive comments and proposals of the children, which are also practical issues capturing the concerns of the society.

He asked relevant organs at all levels to promote entire strength to protect, take care of and educate children while always listening to thoughts and opinions of students to have timely and suitable solutions.

Additionally, he urged children to continue studying and following the “Uncle Ho's 5 teachings for children” to become good citizens so as to contribute to the development of the country.

On the sidelines of the program, the students offered incense and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the city’s Children Palace and visited Snow Town entertainment center in District 2.
