Hanoi to build another flyover to reduce congestion
Hanoi will build a flyover over the An Duong-Thanh Nien intersection to meet traffic demand and reduce congestion in the city.
The project also includes modifications to the structure of a section of the Huu Hong dyke (the dyke on the right bank of the Red River), according to the Hanoi Traffic Project Management Board.
The flyover, estimated to cost more than VND 311.9 billion (some USD 7 million), is 271m in length and 10m in width.

Work is expected to begin next month and will be completed in about seven months.
Nguyen Chi Cuong, Deputy Director of the project management board, said the project implementation would ensure requirements on architecture, anti-flooding and easing traffic congestion in the capital.
Earlier, the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development established a project examination council of scientists and consulted with the public before starting construction.
The flyover will facilitate traffic flow to Noi Bai International Airport through Nhat Tan Bridge.
