Fresher festive day held in Hanoi
PANO - The Central Committee of the Vietnam Students' Association, on November 20 in Hanoi, organized a festive day for freshers themed “S-Fest 2022” to review a series of activities of the Vietnam Students' Association to support students to welcome a new academic year 2022-2023.
The academic year 2022-2023 is the first school year that students come back to face-to-face learning at uniersities and colleges after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Students’ Association directed the Vietnam Student Development and Support Center, together with its chapters in localities and schools, to implement programs to support students to welcome new academic year, such as college tuition loan program with 0% interest; handing over scholarships to the Vietnam Student Development and Support Fund; Unitour program; and the festive day for frehsers “S-Fest”.

Addressing the program, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and President of the Vietnamese Students’ Association Nguyen Minh Triet held that 2022-2023 academic year is an important year, marking the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress. Therefore, the Vietnamese Students’ Association should continue to stand side by sde with students, especially needy students.

To achieve the goals, Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet requested the association to implement various activities to support students, organize cultural and art programs so as to create useful playground for them.
The organizing panel of the S-Fest 2022 hoped that this event would be a memorable activity for all delegates and freshers.
