EVN builds houses for policy beneficiaries
PANO – The Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has raised VND 700 million to build ten houses for policy beneficiaries in five provinces, which cyclists of the coming People’s Army Newspaper’s cycling tournament “To Truong Son 2017 – People’s Army Newspaper Cup”, will ride through.
The beneficiaries of the program include Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Mai in Hanoi, wounded soldier Pham Van Ngoc in Hanoi, Do Thi Nghi (wife of a fallen soldier) in Thanh Hoa, wounded soldier Nguyen Thinh Thi in Thanh Hoa, sick soldier Phan Dinh Manh in Ha Tinh, wounded soldier Dong Xuan Vien in Ha Tinh, Nguyen Thi Luu (daughter of a martyr) in Quang Binh, wounded soldier Le Van Long in Quang Binh, wounded soldier Vo Phu Nai in Quang Tri, and wounded soldier Tran Thi Phi in Quang Tri.
The house construction is scheduled to start during the tournament and be completed on the National Day - September 2.
According to the organizers, local people and authorities also raised fund to partly contribute to the construction so as to build more convenient houses for the beneficiaries.
