Ethnic minority exemplars to be honored
PANO – The first “Nucleuses in villages” program is scheduled to take place in Hanoi between December 20 and 22.
This information was stated at a press conference held by the Vietnam Border Guard High Command, the government's Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs, and the Editorial Board of the Communist Review in Hanoi on December 17.
Accordingly, the program will honor 163 outstanding ethnic minority individuals who are prestigious persons, intellectuals and entrepreneurs living and working in border areas nationwide.
The to-be honorees have distinguished themselves in implementing policies of the Party and State as well as in socio-economic development while actively engaging in ensuring defense and security in their localities.
