Contest on environmental protection launched
PANO – The Communications Center for Natural Resources and Environment and the Civie Water Joint Stock Company co-organized a ceremony on June 5 to launch a contest on environmental protection.
The contest aims to celebrate the World Environment Day (June 5) and highlight the significance of using easily-recyclable aluminum cans to replace plastic bottles that pollute the environment.
The contest is open to all individuals and groups who are living, studying, and working in Vietnam, regardless of age.
Contestants will use “Civie Pure Water” aluminum cans to grow or arrange flowers, ornamental plants, and other plants and send their entries (photos, videos, documents, etc.) to the organizing panel via email at civiewater@gmail.com.
Entries will only be accepted from 12:00 a.m. on July 18, 2022, to July 2023, with a total prize value of nearly VND 400 million.
According to Deputy Director of the Communication Center for Natural Resources and Environment Vu Minh Ly, Civie Water is a member of the union of businesses against plastic waste established by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The contest contributes to emphasizing the strategy and mission of Civie Water in raising the public’s awareness of saving resources by reducing plastic waste, recycling and reusing aluminum.
