Youths of Naval Region 5 join environmental protection efforts
PANO - Naval Region 5 has just launched a “voluntary Saturday” program under the theme “Youths join hands to protect the environment and say no to plastic waste” for its troops on March 12 in Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province.
The event was attended by thousands of personnel and youth union members from the naval region’s affiliated units.

During the program, youth union members repaired and decorated their barracks, cleaned the environment, and collected over five tons of rubbish for disposal.
The event was a meaningful activity, contributing to improving responsibility and awareness of youth union members in protecting the environment and building green and clean barracks.
