PANO – More than 500 policy beneficiaries and those who rendered good service to the nation in five communes of Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province, have received free health check-ups and medicines by medical personnel from Division 312 of Army Corps 1 on August 5th.
The delegation also offered gifts to policy families and medical equipment to the medical station of Phu Cuong commune.
Colonel Bui Quoc Oai, Division 312’s Commissar, stressed that this was an excellent opportunity for the unit’s troops to show their sentiment, gratitude and responsibility for local authorities and people who have created favourable conditions for the unit to fulfil its assigned tasks.
The activity was jointly organsied by the division, the Thai Nguyen provincial Military Command and a branch of military-run telecom group, Viettel, in the province, in response to the program, “Army joins hands for community’s health”.
