More than 500 war veterans who were involved in the General Offensive and Uprising of Mau Than Spring in 1968 gathered in the central city of Hue on Feb. 2 to mark the event’s 45th anniversary.

The delegates were moved when watching documentary films reflecting combative and courageous spirit in those past days.

Earlier, on Feb. 1, a get-together was held in the city among revolutionary veterans, former commanders and local residents who took part in the 1968 General Offensive.
